 Madhumita Shankar 

Based in Chennai, I’m a Clinical Psychologist working with adults in their healing journey. My own experience in therapy shapes the safe, compassionate space I create. I hold an M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology and an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology. As an RCI-registered clinician (A86624), I’m here to support you with care and clarity.

Individual Psychotherapy 

Individual psychotherapy  is a form of psychological treatment where a person works one-on-one with a trained therapist to understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and to improve their mental and emotional well-being.

 

Clinical Hypnotherapy

Clinical hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that uses guided hypnosis to help people reach a focused, relaxed, and highly receptive mental state where they can work through emotional, psychological, or behavioural issues.

Assessments and Psychodiagnostics 

Assessments and Psychodiagnostics refer to the systematic process mental-health professionals use to understand a person’s psychological functioning, identify concerns, and, if needed, make an accurate diagnosis.

Support groups

Support groups are organized gatherings of people who share similar challenges, experiences, or goals, and come together to provide each other with emotional support, understanding, and practical advice.

Workshops 

A workshop is a short, interactive learning session where a small or medium-sized group of people come together to learn a specific skill, concept, or topic in a hands-on, practical way.

Lifestyle and Wellness

Wellness is the overall state of being healthy in body, mind, and lifestyle. It goes beyond just “not being sick” — it’s about living in a balanced, fulfilling, and intentional way.
